We are thrilled to be able to host a marvelous new gallery exhibit with content by Lynne Gerber, Siri Colom, and Ariana Nedelman. The Pink and Purple Church in the Castro tells the story of the Metropolitan Community Church in San Francisco, as the community grappled with the AIDS crisis. This new exhibit combines a treasure trove of archival audio and photos with compelling text. Combined, they to evoke the feel of the queer church during the1980s-90s - at once sad and joyful.
